Don Thorpe will stay on as first vice-president, Michael Slessar as secretary, Helen Slessar as treasurer, Judy Smith as assistant secretary and Brian Nankivell as tail twister.

Membership chairman will now be Geoff Saunders and Jim Smith was given the new position of safety officer.

The Robe Lions club also welcomed new member James King and his wife Gayle.

Lucindale Lion and zone chairman Alan Tregoweth addressed the room, as did RSL president Doug Peel.

The Robe Lions presented Cas Hall and Mark Vearing with a cheque for $2000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

It was a great turnout for the club and a reflection of another successful year – with many enjoying the celebrations.

Robe Surf Life Saving club and the Robe Community Bank were also represented at the dinner.

Robe District Council mayor Peter Riseley and wife Met, along with CEO Roger Sweetman also attended.
