Some really nice moving on the court. Sophie, Jayde and Lucy managed to try and find space and clear out quite well when there was heavy traffic. Well done girls.

Incentive: Jayde McMullan (SeaVu caravan Park), Lucy Kellock (Polly’s at the Marina).

13 and Under: 44-3

Proudly sponsored by Hilton Rural.

Well done girls it was a very convincing win with everyone giving 100 per cent.

Kate and Halle worked really well together in goals with Maya, Asha and Lucy leading well along the attack line and feeding the ball in. As usual the defence line worked tirelessly all game with Johana and Kristen intercepting many and letting Sophie and Maddie take the ball down the court.

Well done girls and lets keep training hard and improving where needed.

Incentives: Johana Nunan (Westley Digiorgio Solicitors), Halle Carter (Robe Auto Marine).

15 and Under: 27-46

Good first quarter girls. We played at our pace and played controlled netball.

During the second quarter we lost concentration and allowed our opposition to play without a lot of pressure.

Third quarter we lifted our workrate and pressure and were within three at three quarter time.

We need to believe in ourselves and continue to work hard. Incentives went to Maddie Nunan and Sienna Zealand for their work in defence. They both applied pressure and read the ball well.

Let’s look to next week now. Thanks to Ellie and Asha for sitting our bench.

Thank you also to Alison Nunan for taking the girls for training and passing on her knowledge and experience.

Incentives: Maddie Nunan (Robe Seafood and Takeaway), Sienna Zealand (Techwool Trading).

17 and Under: 36-47

Proudly sponsored by Mat’s Plumbing.

A great game by both teams. Coming into the game we knew that Hatherleigh were going to be a strong opposition.

Robe started the game strongly, and it was a tough quarter of netball.

It was more of a struggle in the second and third quarters with Hatherleigh extending their lead.

Hatherleigh’s strong defence and tall goalies gave the Robe girls some grief, and we struggled to get on top.

We made some changes and came out stronger in the last quarter and were able to win the quarter, but were unable to come out on top. Both teams fought hard and it was a great game to watch.

Incentives: Ellie Gould (Carter’s Robe Foodland and Celebrations), Emilee Sawyer (KB chiropractic).
